KAYLEE MEETS KAYLEE AT THE EISF

Right after Kaylee was born, Kaya decided to pretend that she was Kaylee. It was so cute. For weeks Kaya anticipated the day that baby Kaylee would come and there would be 2 Kaylees (real Kaylee and Kaya-Kaylee). Kaya met Kaylee and all her dreams came true.

It stopped being cute after Kaya started to mimick Kaylee's crying. Real Kaylee has come and gone (a month ago) but Kaya-Kaylee remains and has gotten rather irritating. No matter what I say to Kaya, she responds with "I'm baby Kaylee."

I say, "What do you want for breakfast?"

"I'm baby Kaylee," she says.

I say, "What do you want to wear today?"

"I'm baby Kaylee," she says.

It's the first thing she says in the morning and the last thing at night. Sometimes she rolls over in her sleep and says, "I'm baby Kaylee." And there's the crying. Constantly. She wrinkles up her face and makes the most irritating sounds...all day long.
