ALL ABOUT KAYA, AGE 3

Kaya is all girl. Not exactly what we had in mind, but she's so cute we can't resist embracing that girliness. She loves to sing and dance. I often hear her singing made up songs to herself. She can get pretty excited when dancing and is exhausting to watch. She only wears dresses and has plenty of cute ones thanks to the immaculate taste of Aunt Mandi. Kaya loves movies and all things Barbie and Disney Princess. She has fallen prey to their overwheliming marketing strategies despite my best efforts.

Kaya's favorite activities are reading books, painting, cutting pieces of paper into tiny scraps and scattering them around the kitchen, playing with her dogs, and playing in the backyard. Kaya's favorite book is "Grandma and Me" and she reads most of it along with me.

Kaya is potty trained, sings her ABC's, counts to 13 and knows all her colors. When she was little I thought she might be a little slow but she's fairly intelligent now.

She often floors me with the crazy things she says and the big words she knows. I like how she answers most "yes" questions with "of course." One of her favorite words is "dangerous" and she uses it often in conjunction with any activities Lance does. She knows everyone's favorite color and loves to point out things that are my favorite, blue, to me all day long. Her favorite is pink, of course.

Kaya's favorite foods are chocolate, chicken nuggets, fries, pineapple, apples, raisins, fruit snacks and marshmallow cereal.

Kaya is a special girl. She charms everyone she knows. 95% of the time she is a total little lady. She has a very loving and caring personality. She even likes the old people that most kids are scared of.

Kaya is my best friend. I never feel like I need a break from her and I am so sad when I'm away from her. I love my girl! She is the best part of my life.

Kaya is a pretty awesome little girl. You left out the part about how her favorit uncle is Matt since they have the same birthday.

Give Kaya a big hug for me.

What a cute little girl. Should I feel bad that I feel like I do need a break from my kids. I love that you too are such buddies. We need to get together soon. McKay would have so much fun playing with Kaya.
