I've been employed for twelve weeks. It's a record. Apparently it took me almost 30 years to learn how to work. Maybe by time I'm 60 I'll be ready to move up to a full-time job.
The recession hasn't hit Bingham Memorial's marketing department and they are in full-speed ahead mode. The CEO is a big fan of marketing and pr and is willing to throw money into it. I'm excited about the projects I'm working on. It's very satisfying to be able to put quality time into creating "art" pieces rather than doing something menial like $10 business cards.
I like the freedom I have to work on all aspects of a project from research to strategy to promotional materials. I study crazy things like hydrocephalus till I feel like I could treat it. Then I write papers on it and create promotional materials like brochures, posters or tv animation to educate the public.
Someday I'll get my design site updated so YOU can see what I do every night from 11pm-2am.
